Upstream Principles LLC sought to establish itself in the marketplace as a new entity, challenging the status quo of the leadership and employee development industry.
Employers have tried addressing employee development and leadership training, often in response to the challenges of having five generations in the workplace. However, these efforts had little impact on the culture that begins upstream.
Upstream Principles takes a different approach to employee development and leadership training. Its founders are two long-time legal advisors who spent years helping employers rescue struggling employees and defend against damaging work environments, before recognizing there was a better way.
Upstream Principles needed to create a bold, effective brand to tell its unique story. The company needed a cohesive look across all touchpoints, including its website, video, email, business cards, letterhead, and presentation deck.
The team at KSGilmore Consulting LLC worked with Upstream Principles to define the company’s brand, voice and style. We helped Upstream understand the competitive landscape, and to define its value proposition.
We worked with the company’s leaders to create a brand that aligned with their values. The brand story is reinforced through the company’s video, which pulls double-duty as an introductory piece or as a “pre-roll” to be shown at a conference or event. The website, video and collateral are all cohesive, which creates a consistent, memorable user experience.
